  2. Markus, looks like you have your hands full! I know how important those grants are to the Transit operation, as the trip fares do not generate nearly the amount of revenue needed to operate. Keep up the good work!

  3. Markus, your familiarity with grants will serve you well in the future. I just wish the U.S. had a national program that was as forward-thinking as that embraced by the City of Phoenix. A national, coast-to-coast high speed rail system that would reduce reliance on automobiles and air traffic would go a long way to creating jobs, and reinforcing our infrastructure. Congrats on the internship!
